Update, Car was in for a week, several updates and units replaced. Got it back Friday and now it finally works. Just in time for the big test

Hi Ralph, in answer to your question I don't know the technical details. They had to wait a few days to get the right software from Renault even after installing the new chip. But it now works fine. Obviously I don't which dealer you use but you could try contacting John Banks, Cambridge service department for advice. They were quite helpful with this (and the tailgate rattle issue), both of which they sorted. Although the car was in for some days, they persisted and did succeed.

And what chip did they installed? I’ve had the update and fix in November but stil doesn’t pre heat. Called Renault dealer several times now but they don’t call back. Now I sent them an email with an ultimatum of 2 weeks. If they don’t respond I’m going to contact Renault Netherlands importer. I’ve had it with this dealer. Car is now 9 Months old and still not ‘complete’.
